Leader A person who is in charge of a country and makes important decisions for the people
Peace When people or countries stop fighting and live together without war or violence

The president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, wants to help the United States and Venezuela stop fighting and start talking. The US sent lots of military ships to Venezuela, and President Trump said Venezuela's leader is doing bad things, like helping drug dealers. This made things very scary because a big war could start. President Sheinbaum said Mexico doesn't like fighting and wants both countries to talk nicely instead. She thinks it's important that countries listen to each other and find peaceful ways to solve problems, not use weapons.

President Sheinbaum also said the world leaders and the United Nations should help stop this from becoming a war. Mexico said it could be a safe place for the two countries to meet and talk. Venezuela has lots of oil that both countries want, which is why they are arguing. President Sheinbaum believes that when people or countries have problems, they should always try to talk about it first instead of fighting. She hopes that soon, the United States and Venezuela will sit down together and work things out peacefully.
