Three teenagers from Chihuahua, Mexico, won first place in a big robot contest in Beijing, China. The contest happened from August 8 to August 12, 2025. The teens, named Karina, Gabriel, and Luis, built and programmed robot arms that acted like a moon landing! Their hard work and teamwork helped them beat many teams from all over the world.

This contest is one of the biggest robot competitions in the world and is called the World Robot Contest. It’s like the Olympics, but for robots! Thousands of young people from over 20 countries compete by making robots and showing off their skills.

The Chihuahua STEM Council helped these teens get ready. STEM means Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. These are subjects that help you build and create cool things like robots.

The Mexican government and teachers are very proud of these teens. This shows that kids from Mexico can do amazing things when they work together, prepare well, and use their talent.
