Airlines like Aeroméxico and All Nippon Airways (ANA) offer direct routes between Mexico and Japan, making the long trip simpler and more comfortable. ANA has operated a daily nonstop flight between Mexico City International Airport and Narita Airport in Tokyo since 2017, and growing demand has made the airline consider adding more flights in the future. Even though there are no concrete plans yet, ANA sees Mexico as an important market and wants to support both passenger and cargo travel between the two countries.

Finally, this rise in tourism is also connected to business interests. Japanese companies, especially in manufacturing, are paying more attention to Mexico, which strengthens the relationship between the two nations. ANA views Mexico City as the most logical hub because it has a large flight network, even though places like Cancún and Tulum are becoming more popular among Japanese visitors. However, these beach destinations have strong seasonal changes, so they are less stable for a major airline hub. All these elements together show how cultural curiosity, business connections and better flights are bringing Mexico and Japan closer than ever.
