More Mexicans are going on trips to Japan, and in 2025 over 200,000 people from Mexico visited this Asian country, which is much more than the year before. Many families travel together, with kids, parents and grandparents, because they want to see a new place and learn about Japanese culture. In Japan, they can enjoy colorful traditional festivals, taste different regional foods and walk through cities that look very modern with bright lights and advanced technology.
Japan is also making it easier for Mexicans to visit. The Japan National Tourism Organization in Mexico works with airlines and travel agencies to invite more people to travel and to show that there is more to see than just Tokyo. Airlines like Aeroméxico and ANA have direct flights from Mexico City to Tokyo, so travelers do not have to stop in many airports. As more people travel and more companies from Japan and Mexico work together, the two countries become closer friends.
